MIRI : My Hometown
Today, i'm going to introduce to you guys my sweet home Miri. Miri is not really an established city yet in Malaysia altough it was known for the fact that the oil is first found here in Malaysia. Miri has become city on 5 of May 2005 (5/5/05) and i proud about that since Miri is really a place that deserved such title. Here, we have about 320,000 people but mostly is Chinese and follow up by Ibanese. So, to help promoting Miri, i would post some beautiful picture i taken from this website (www.trekearth.com).
If you used airplane as your transportation to go to Miri, this will be the first thing to greet you.

Its Miri Airport which is one of the busiest airport in Malaysia.
Then, this is the city :

This is one of the tallest building in Miri named Yu Lan Plaza.

Some of the most beautiful scenery in Miri which make you feels good. Here is the road to Canada! I'm kidding. This is the road to Canada Hill in Miri, the peak of this city where you can view the whole town and even South Chinese Sea from here!

And this is what you found at the top of the hill. Its Grand Old Lady!!

This is the view from Tanjung Batu, one of the most visited beach in Miri.

This is the village where most of them is fishermen. It takes only 5 minutes from the town to here.

This where the workers from Shell and Petronas usually stay. This placed is so not Malaysia because it looking like a place in US. Mostly people from overseas live here. So, you know where to find western people.
