The Journey
I wrote this days before i go back to Kuching and couldn't be publish at that time due to some circumstances.
Yesterday (July 2, 2010) was one of the craziest days I’ve ever had. I, my sis and my mom are planning to go a bank in E-Mart to check whether the salary is in or not. So, we asked my brother to send us there, using motorcycle, one by one.
After nice shopping and some candy for eyes, the time show it almost 8.30p.m. We stopped a while at the stage of the mega shopping complex to enjoy our ice cream. 10 minutes passed by, we need to start our journey. In case any of you don’t know this fact, my family never ever had a car, our main transportation is by motorcycle and public bus. Since my brother is not someone for bossing around, we choose to use our foot to walk to our home. Its 8.40p.m and very dark, the neighborhood surrounding E-Mart are not as busy as itself. There are bushes and uncompleted houses. My mom suggesting that we should use the road we travelled before, but the problem is that we used that road before was on the very bright evening and we see already what are served during the journey, lot of empty houses and no electrical supply. Since me and my sister outnumbered my mom decision, we choose to walk using the main road where there is a lot of car passing since it would be more safe to travelled using that way.
A normal family would never ever do that. Along the way, we found snake-like stick, couple of frogs and hundreds of cars. About 100m from our home, we found a couple of dogs too who about to chase us. Thank God the dog is not too pleased to bite us.
The journey was roughly about 35minutes (nearly two times from Mulu to Everrise). And 10minutes after that, it’s heavily rain. It was fun, adventuring and new experienced. Have you done something like that with your family? Not too late.
