BOOMBOX CHART (Week 295, 296 & 297 Edition)

Both Eminem and Rihanna make an achievement for themselves by scoring #1 on week 295 as they entering the hall of "Artist With More than 3 #1 Single" though it still far to claimed the title from Britney Spears who has 7 #1 single. But it is a good news for Eminem since he stay on the top for 6 weeks consecutively with three different singles and he is the first artist since, again, Britney Spears in 2007 to claimed the top spot with second single after the debut single.
Although, Airplanes Part 2 already topping the chart but the first part of the song just entering the chart as the highest new entry this week, followed by 4 other new entry.

Week 296



1/8/2010 - 7/8/2010

Eminem extends his reign in the peak of chart for another week while Jason DeRulo doing what his good at, by climbing to a position which his previous three singles managed to claimed (with In My Head able to climb higher) at #2.
Shontelle latest single, Impossible, became highest new entry as it her first appearance on the chart since her debut single T-Shirt charting on Boombox back in 2008. After disappointing debut of his second single, There Goes My Baby (debut at #24 and off from the chart a week later), Usher trying once again with DJ Got Us Fallin in Love at #12 which is better than OMG (#18) debut in April.

Week 297



8/8/2010 - 14/8/2010

Jason DeRulo managed to kick Eminem and his troop off the #1 spot as he get his second #1 song with What If.
New entry of this week led by first single, Mine, from Taylor Swift much anticipated album of the year at #1o while Ke$ha debut her fourth single, Take If Off, at #23, the lowest debut of her career, thanks for criticizing Princess of Pop. LOL. Teenage Dream (#15) debut better than California Gurls (#16) for Katy Perry and so for Iyaz too with So Big (#18) debut better than his third single, There You Are (#20).
