My 5 Favorite Songs of Katy Perry

I love Katy Perry when it comes to her songs. She released two full-length albums namely, One of The Boys and Teenage Dream, both are a standout to my ears. She have that kind of music that don't get tired when you are listening to it over and over again. She know what is catchy to the ears and to the mouth. Remember, "Peacock, cock, cock!" That is genius.

I remember the time when she was still unknown to Malaysia's music industry, she was famous, or should I say controversial, over her second (and first official) single, "I Kissed A Girl"  in her country. American were buzzing over her song. I take it for granted at first because I thought she just another newcomer who is hungry for cheap controversy and that her 15 minutes of fame will fade off soon.

No, I was wrong. That song keep on climbing the Billboard Hot 100 chart. So, I take back what I said and download that song and damn. That is a pop song. Genuine one. After that, is a history.

Now you know I love Katy Perry and how I fall in love with her, here are FIVE of her songs that I digg and love the most, and although her music catalogues still not as big as Madonna or The Beatles, she's on her way.

5. Last Friday Night (TGIF)
This is the song that define Fiday better than (oh, WAY better) Rebecca Black. Whenever I listen to this song, it make me anticipate Friday more than before. The chorus are just as catchy as saying TGIF over and over again. Plus, Kenny G in it? What?! Win.

4. Hot N Cold
The subtly lyrics (again, what makes Katy Perry's song is so addictive is the lyrics!) is so on and coherent with the music. She really work well with Dr Luke. I love it more when I used to meet this type of person in my life. One minute, that person is so into me and the next, that person can't even look at me.

3. Teenage Dream
Oh, when this song was released, I was like, this album is a massive hits and I was right. It make you feel like you are a teenager again whenever you listen to this song, just what this song is imply. "My missing puzzle piece, I'm complete" - I love this line.

2. Waking Up In Vegas
An uptempo song that I never get tired of. You can hear Vegas in this song, that's what you get when you listen to this song
.

1. Thinking of You
Damn. No doubt, the best ever from Katy Perry. "You said move on, where do I go?" I just love every second of this song. It feel so close to my heart. Whenever I am thinking of someone, I would sing this song. And I remember, when I was breaking up with someone, let's name that person as A, I try to move on by having a relationship with B. Everytime B is holding my hand, I will think of A. That feeling is shit.

Anyway, as much as I love Katy Perry's songs, I don't like when she perform it live. She ruin it all.
