Ever since Kolej Meranti wireless
service was not functioning for more than one month due to vandalism (kids
nowadays, sigh), I rarely went online and update my blog. Well, in that
meantime, a lot has been going on in my life and I’m here to share it with y’all.
Firstly, the last PPKP module I will ever
attend. It was quite fun, although we have to share with two other groups at
first before we move out to our own place. I’m glad that I’m with some people
that I close with, such as Ray Adderley, Kecik and Farhana Fana. Just a trivia,
me and Kecik have been on the same group for the last two module. We were asked
to present about Rukun Negara and to be honest, out of the three teams, we were
the best presenter. We elaborate and understand what we were presenting and
organized. And we were asked to solve an unconventional problem, consist of
nails and clay, where we have to make other nails to stand base on only one
nail, with the help of the clay, we have the most out of this world solution.
Other teams have the right answer but are not as creative as we were. This
module turn out to be one of my favorite modules ever. Moreover, what makes it
more special is how my teammate is so eager to know about each other and they
are not cold. Really reflect how Malaysian should be.
The facilitator called our solution as an alien solution. Haha.. Well, at least it standing.
My teammates. I remember their name, month ago, not now. Haha.. I'm bad with names.
Anyway, let’s move on to another
moment.
Me and roommates joined this
bowling tournament, Meranti Super Strike, though at start we want to be on the
same team but unfortunately, they already arranged the team for us. That leave
me with Hamid Kassim, Papa Poret, Hassan and Khairul, and we were coined as JPK
Borneo. Khairul is not, in any way, a Borneoan, but as a true Borneo, we accept
people as they are. No judgment. As predicted, I’m the sore loser in the team.
My highest score was 86 points, and I get that twice. My teammates, get above
100 points for the entire four games. Our team managed to get the fifth place
out of fourteen groups, which is pretty impressive, considering Hamid is a
first timer and I’m in the group.
Me, Papa Poret, Hamid Kassim and Hassan.
This is the first part of the
recap, the second part will follow suit in coming days. The second part will
cover my triumph as a manager and a man himself.
