Gawai 2017 (Part 1)
Hey there. Let's update you guys on some personal shit. I don't think I've share any of these on any of my social media platforms (cause I like to keep my contents different for each of it, so my followers won't feel like I post some redundant shit, to keep it interesting). Except maybe for Instagram stories and that disappear after 24 hour period.
Talking about social media, let me do some promo about what I do have, just in case you want to stalk me, let me make it easier for you.

I don't have any other social media other than mentioned above. Let's back to the story of my Gawai celebration. It's been awhile since the last time we went back to our village in Betong. The last one was probably in 2014. Can't recalled.
28.May.2017
Anyway, the journey started with three of us; my sister, me and my brother. My mother would follow later in the day since she can't get her annual leave. She was late to apply for it. She'll be joining us on the first day of Gawai, traveling by bus. We had plan beforehand that we'd make a stop and overnight in Bintulu since my brother never been there and we need some shopping too, cause both of me and my sister got our paycheck late for the month. And of course, I have to meet someone there. The journey was okay, though it took us 4 hours or more to reach the destination and the fact that we got lost when we went look for our place to stay, 900 Inn.
I'm amazed by the interior design of the Inn. We booked a family room just for MYR140 for three person. I think it's okay for value of the money that spent. Mind you, it's still an INN, not a hotel, so I don't know why my sister expecting more. She kept on complaining about how the breakfast that we got is not up to her standard. Gurl, it's an INN. Beggars can't be choosers. Unless you have more, then be willing to pay more. She's been that way tho, nothing can satisfied her if it's not luxury enough. Can get annoying at times. I have to keep in one ear, out on the other side. There's no way she would be a compatible partner for traveling. Negativity just don't welcome in my vacay.
Later that afternoon, I got a call from someone I adore. He asked about our plan to meet and told me to get ready. He brought me to Tanjung Batu beach since I did mentioned about how I love the beach before on my working trip to Bintulu. We had ABC and banana cheese and some silly conversation. If you read my blog before, you know I'm a fan of beach date. Thought I won't say what we're doing a date since we're still not in an official relationship but it feels like it. It's complicated, to say the least. He knows where he's at in my life (my heart obviously) but maybe he's not ready to pursue more. I don't know what it is, don't want to bother him with my questions, so let's just let it flow naturally. If he wants me, he knows he can have me. If he don't, I'm still right here waiting for him. Pathetic but it's hard to unloved someone who you still deeply in love with. Oh gawd, I'm bringing this personal shit again. Let's reroute the content of this entry.
We went for karaoke session after that, that's like our main activity, other than running events. We're quite flirtatious throughout the session. He shows some affectionate moves, moves that I have never felt since our last relationship phase and that's like two years ago. It felt good tho, just the touch of his hand on mine (nothing inappropriate though, we keep it PG cause we're grown up and we have class). Then he sent me back to the hotel but since my brother and my sister went out for shopping, he sent me to the mall. He did take the long road tho, I like that about him. Like he don't want me to go back yet. That's why I like him. He's very attentive and it shown in his action. He put in efforts. Maybe he don't 100% sure to jump in it with me again but he did show some signals, although it might be a mixed signal but i'll take it.

After we had our breakfast, we go to Sibu to fetch three of our second cousins. Thank God we don't have to stay overnight at that particular longhouse cause I don't like anyone in that house. They speak different accent/slang. FYI, we're not related by blood. The woman who take care of our cousins, married to my uncle, she don't even stop us from going back to the road. I have never liked that woman anyway. Next, we make our move to Betong with addition to my first cousin, Vivianna joining in our trip. It was like 8pm when we arrived at our longhouse, we got lost too beforehand. After some shower and settling in, we found out that none of the mattresses and pillows is in good condition since no one live in that house to take care of things. My grandpa now live with my uncle's wife, he was the only one living in our house. He only went back to the house for Gawai. He arrived a week before us and he's like 90 years old. Luckily I brought my pillow, so i have that for the night.

Our mission for the day is to survive. Mom will not be here until two days later, there's nothing to cook, let alone to eat. So, we went to nearby market, about 20 minutes away, driving. Bought some necessary stuffs, like pillows and food. We bought some stuffs for Gawai too. I have to be very domestic, cooking, cleaning and everything in between. Man, a day without mom is like decades without rain. Honestly.
Okay, that's all for now. Wait for the second part of this entry as I show you some of the things that happened mostly during Gawai. See ya.

I tried this one on but i bought another. Typical Libra, i don't even try that one on.
Feeling the Gawai mood at Bintulu Times Square

Single bed and king size bed. The bed is so big, you don't even know you're sleeping with someone.
The bathroom.
The room also have a kitchen in it.

I found these coins while we made a stop in Bintulu and Sibu. 10cent in Bintulu and 20cent in Sibu, It's like a sign or something.
The longhouse where my grandpa and my three cousins lived in Bintangor. As of now, all three of my cousins chose not to go back (leaving behind their school and stuffs) because they can't stand the mean bitch who "took care" of them before. I feel bad for them. And they're very young, the oldest is Primary 4 and youngest Primary 2. They were treated like a slave under that bitch. Even my grandpa confirmed it.
A wefie while we made a stop at Jakar, Sarikei.

Me and my grandpa.
On our way to buy some stuffs at Pusa and the boy in the middle is one of my cousins, he'll meet his mom at Pusa for the first time in awhile, since his mom work there while three of them study in Bintangor.
One of the ways to kill the boredom. There's no phone line in the house unless you go to the upstairs which is very hot in the mid of the day.
My aunt, my grandpa and my cousin, Vivianna having chit chat. My aunt lives next door, to our right.
Here is some video for you guys. Me and my brother exploring the backyard of our house to see what's up. We used to have pigs on our own back then, but the pigs you see in this video are belong to my other aunt who live next to us, on the left.
Okay, that's all for now. Wait for the second part of this entry as I show you some of the things that happened mostly during Gawai. See ya.
