Last Days In Miri In 2011

Hey y’all! It’s my 3rd day in Selangor. Time running kind of fast. I got no class today, at least that’s what me and my course mate think since the class timetable for our course is not available yet. Anyway, I’m going to blog more about this UiTM experience (ceh, macam dah lamak gilak jadi student UiTM Shah Alam tok) in upcoming post.

My last days in Miri were a very wonderful and sweet one. Couldn’t ask for more than that (boleh sebenarnya tapi bersyukur je la dengan apa yang ada). The night before I’m leaving Miri, I and my siblings spending some quality time together by having dinner at McDonald’s Permyjaya. We even wish each other Merry Christmas, birthdays and Happy New Year, in advance because I won’t meet them until January 2012.

Days before that, I baked two cakes for my family with the help from my brother. We baked Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Cake.

This is the Chocolate Cake that I baked. Almost a disaster cake, it was a bit raw and the amount of water needed is almost twice the suggested amount. 


And this one is the Vanilla Cake, delicious than the above cake. Secukup rasa.


The last day in Miri, I spent it with my ‘kekasih awal dan akhir’, menurut NJ. Hehe.. He texted me in the morning asking whether I want to go to Curtin’s Open Day. Of course I do, so he picked me at 2pm and we went straight to the campus compound. That was actually my second visit to the Curtin, my first one was when I was in Secondary school, following the school visit. Both of us round round kat situ, sempat jugak I jumpa bekas student SMKDP kat situ. Sorang siap puji I dah look different and makin kurus. Wah, rupa rupanya I gemuk dulu. Hmmm.. After watching and voting for Miri’s Got Talent, we met with NJ. It was such a sweet moment; finally I got to meet my sister from social network site. She walked us around the campus and then we have our late lunch at Shukie. She promised to belanja me makan at Shukie if my tweetcount is nearly 33,333 and she did. Suka tau orang yang memenuhi janji ni. Tak kisah la lambat, janji janji itu dipenuhi.

Curtin's Open Day!

That night he picked me at 7.30pm, sharp y’all. One thing I like about him, mun nya padah that certain time, nang time ya nya datang, exactly as time he promised. Mun ada hal pun, nya akan inform awal awal. I love those who practice punctuality. I takla punctual mana tapi biasanya I ni jenis yang datang awal. Dalam kereta, dia siap bagi I online guna iPad dia. Man, that was the first time I pegang apple product! Kampung sangat kan I ni? Hehe.. Kan I lama dah tak online, I terminate my broadband account on 9th September (RIP baby), so dia suro I online guna iPad. Sweet nya. Siap dia bagi I bertwitter guna BB dia, tapi I mana la tahu guna trackball BB tu, I ingat touchscreen lagi. Malu nya.

Then he help me buat check in bagai. Malu siot time I check in guna kiosk tu. Mati mati I ingat benda tu touch screen. Ye la, screen kiosk tu besar bagak, I ingat dia main touch la. After dropping the luggage at the counter (19kg), he asked me whether I want to eat or not. Since he don’t like me on diet and me trying to lost my weight, so I cakap I nak makan (lagipun flight pukul 1015pm, so confirm lapar kalau dah landing nanti), nak buat dia happy. So dia teman I makan kat Marry Brown and we spend our last hour kat situ.
Time menunggu untuk boarding, rasa sebak sangat di dada. Leaving him, one thing. Leaving my family, another thing. Overall, I love every moment I spent with my family, friends, and him. 

p/s : Erks. Agak lama baru dapat post entry ni atas sebab tertentu yang tak dapat dielakkan. Hoho..

My Mom..

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th. Since then, I have a medium to share what's behind the scene of my life, what I have been thinking, and I have evolve ever since; physically or bloggaly. Huhu.. I made that up.
