Finally! I found the reason to love Kuala Lumpur! I don't fancy Kuala Lumpur or KL at all when I visited it before. All the chaos, the shopping complex, didn't give me reason to love it. In fact, I think I have never spent anything (except for transportation and foods) there. I just don't have firework relationship with KL, until today!
Let me rewind a bit. Yesterday, suddenly my bff, Tita Charles, invite me and Stan Blaster to go to KL. I just said yes, without knowing the plan.
Apparently, they want to go to Tita's aunt house but too bad, we had to cancel that plan for some unexplained reasons. So, after having lunch at Nasi Kandar Asli Utara, we head back to KL Sentral then using Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), we go to KL. From there (before that, me and Tita acted as Philippines to get KL map from Tourist Information Centre), we walked and met some people (I even asked an Indonesian about the whereabouts of Lake Gardens, only to be told that she is an Indonesian and she asking a favor from us on how to go to KLCC, I have never been there too) to asked for some direction to go to Lake Gardens.

| Having late lunch at Sungei Wang. From left, Alice in The Wonderland, Neelam Grrr, Tita Charles, Stan Blaster and Papa Poret. |
| Me and Tita Charles. I just love the lighting and the tunnel. Usually, at this kind of tunnel, people are getting bullied. |
| Tita Charles and me, on the coach (we paid RM1 each), heading to the lake. |
| They are so happy, although kena simbah dengan air hujan. :) |
The rain didn't stop us a bit. Like Neelam Grrr said, we merang the garden. We have our high tea (or as Tita said, high Milo) at the Taman Tasik Perdana Kiosk next to the lake with a spectacular view, then strolled around, looking for National Monument (Tugu Negara). It was on the top of the Gardens. It was big. Real big.
| Love love love this scene. Very romantic and Euro-ish and we're having out high tea facing this view. |
| Kanak-kanak riang bergambar dengan jambatan. Only if can shoot this picture with DSLR. |
| With this picture, Stan Blaster tetiba tinggi daripada the rest of them! Haha.. Camera tricks. |
| Modelesque. |
| All six of us. Too bad, the foreigner was no good with taking picture. Kenapa tak ambik dgn tugu tu skali? Ayo. |
| Salute to the Heroes. |
| Baris!!! |
| Papa Poret almost got it, too bad, kepala Tugu tu tak nampak. Maybe the camere fault? |
| Ha, ambik kau. Bottom sudah membottom. Salah pose. |
| The Philippines that is so patriotic with Malaysia. :P |
Then we go to the KL Bird Park but we didn't come inside since the fee is quite expensive for students like us. I bought a sunglasses and a key chain though. :)
| Finally I found a sunglasses that fit my big head! I didn't think at all, beli terus. |
That was it. The reason I love KL. I love the nature it offer, and I thought KL is all about the traffic jam and shopping complex, there is actually a hidden treasure inside. If someone say that it is not worth it to go to KL and visited the landmark, instead of the shopping complexes, let me slap you right in your face.
