Derma Dara(h)..

I've been planning to donate my blood since part 2 but i have no guts to do it because i hear a lot of scary stories from my friends and the procedure one have to follow before one can donate theirs blood. Oh, one more reason, i have no friend to accompany me to do so.

Until, yesterday. Where, my roommate, Igah, convince me to donate our blood. Its was 2 more hours before the crew closed for any registration. Both of us are so nervous and then we just follow the flow.

Right after 3.20pm, my named was called (before that, i learned that my blood type is AB). With my heart pumped unusually, i brave myself getting ready for any kind of injection. The first injection was nothing (i'm quite usual to injection) and then the nurse found out that my blood vessel is too small and they wondering if the needle is small enough to go through it. I was so nervous at that time because i'm afraid they have to cancelled me out from donating. First, they trying to insert the needle but they missed my blood vessel, so they have to called the professional officer. And then, i see my blood flowing very fast out from my body. About 5 to 7 minutes later, i'm done and right after the officer let me to touch my blood packet, i'm about to cried. Serious. The feeling is like having my baby on my hand. That is my blood. I feel blessed and happy. Its been awhile i was never this happy and blessed.

Thank God, i have no complication after that although i do feel a little bit weak but i was out from the block E with a big smile and feel blessed. At least, one of my dream is coming true. Its a very big percentage that i will do it again next semester. Join me?
