My FAVORITE MOVIE Of All Time!

This is the list of film which i watched from 2009 to 2010. There is no Forrest Gump (1994), Titanic (1997) or other fantastic movies in the list because i watch them way before 2009. Some of the movie were released before 2009 but still making the list because i watched them just after 2009. Get it?

The list is compiled alphabetically and all of them received 10/10 rate from me in my IMDB account (which have 104 films and counting). I will provide download link for the movie if you interested to download and watch it.

Avatar (2009)
Synopsis : A paraplegic marine dispatched to the moon Pandora on a unique mission becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home.

My Opinion : I bet no one not watching this worldwide phenomenon, if there is someone, you are not part of the Earth or Pandora. LOL. What i like about this movie is that it involved a lot of emotions while watching it which is only some movie could do so. The time spending watching this movie (161 minutes) is felt like just a minute. You begging for more at the end. Don't worry, though, James Cameron is in the work to released the sequel to this rare masterpiece.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs (2009)
Synopsis : The most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children's book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.

My Opinion : I'm surprised this is not a product of Pixar! Lots of laugh along the way and at one moment, you feel hungry watching it. Its like food heaven, except for the part where the headless chicken come alive and attacking the characters. LOL! But i'm disappointed that this movie is not nominated for Best Animated Feature in 2010 Oscars because this is the ultimate animated feature of 2009, beating the hell out of Up.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid (2010)
Synopsis : Live-action adaptation of Jeff Kinney's illustrated novel about a wise-cracking sixth grade student.

My Opinion : It is very unusual for school kids movie to be so good and this one is the best since Mean Girl. The kids are very talented (especially the ever cool Chloe Moretz) and the storyline is damn feel good. Most memorable part : Cheese Touch!

Happy-Go-Lucky (2008)
Synopsis : A look at a few chapters in the life of Poppy, a cheery, colorful, North London schoolteacher whose optimism tends to exasperate those around her.

My Opinion : If you think you are happy enough, try to watch this. Then you know what is happy. Poppy (played by Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins) is the definition of happy. Because of that, people don't like it. This is not really a happy movie till the end. There is some scenes where it will shocked you, the moment when someone don't understand your happiness and try to take it away from you. This movie makes me envied of Poppy. Oscar worthy film but not nominated for Best Picture. Maybe Oscar members are jealous of Poppy happiness.

How To Train Your Dragon (2010)
Synopsis : A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.

My Opinion : Again, this is the best animated feature which is not produced by Pixar! There is a big chance that Oscar snubbed this movie because Oscar is such a loser. When i first read the articles about this movie, i thought this could be one of the flopped film in 2010 but i was proved wrong. This is a masterpiece, enough saying.

Leap Year (2010)
Synopsis : A woman who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the date February 29 rolls around, faces a major setback when bad weather threatens to derail her planned trip to Dublin. With the help of an innkeeper, however, her cross-country odyssey just might result in her getting engaged.

My Opinion : This movie is so not an Oscar material but what makes this is a favorite of mine is the sense of romanticness in it. The film is so bubbly and the chemistry between Amy Adams and Matthew Goode is believable. I enjoyed and feel relax while watching it. One thing i learnt from this movie is that don't put too much pressure on a simple movie and i will ended up enjoying watching it. Suitable to be watch during February period.

Salt (2010)
Synopsis : A CIA agent goes on the run after a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy.

My Opinion : If you think this is the "sequel" to Wanted, you are totally wrong. Cause, first, Angelina Jolie did not die in here and second, no hot male actors. LOL! Only St Angelina could pull this type of movie with a great action. After all, she is currently the best female action stars. Lot of twists making this movie unique in its own way.

Temple Grandin (2010)
A biopic of Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who has become one of the top scientists in the humane livestock handling industry.

My Opinion : Never heard of this movie? Cause it is not for theater screening, it was screen for television. I must say, if this movie published into theater, this is strong contender for Best Picture 2010. The storyline is beyond genius and Claire Danes is Temple Grandin in this movie, magical! This film inspire you in a lot of way while giving you two (or more) laugh. Right from the start, you know this is not a typical film.

The Adventures Of Priscilla : Queen Of The Desert (1994)
Synopsis : Two drag queens and a transsexual get a cabaret gig in the middle of the desert.

My Opinion : Yes, this is a gay movie and this is a whole lot better than Brokeback Mountain. The movie started with catchy tune and ended with Abba's greatest hits, what a way to start and end an amazing movie. All of the actors are very in their game. Don't worry, there is no sex scene cause this is not a cheap gay movie. They don't need sex to sell this movie.

The Incredibles (2004)
Synopsis : A family of undercover superheroes, while trying to live the quiet suburban life, are forced into action to save the world.

My Opinion : I was skeptical before watching this movie cause i think this is overrated, not until i watch it. Nothing is overrated about this feature. This is the best action animated feature, ever. Not to forget to mentioned, it was produced by the team who brought us HIGHlarious Finding Nemo. In that case, nothing will be wrong.

The Polar Express (2004)
Synopsis : On Christmas Eve, a doubting boy boards a magical train that's headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus's home.

My Opinion : This is my personal best Christmas flicks ever (followed closely by 2009 A Christmas Carol). The song is very seasonal and sing-along. And the greatest part, wait for it, Tom Hanks did most of the voices. Yeah, that kid and that train driver is Tom Hanks! Unbelievable. A must watch film during Christmas time. Only those who believe in Santa will appreciate this as much as mine.

Toy Story 2 (1999)
Synopsis : When Woody is stolen by a toy collector, Buzz and his friends vow to rescue him, but Woody finds the idea of immortality in a museum tempting.

My Opinion : Where is the first one? That is because the sequel is much better than the first one! Among the three series of Toy Story, i find this is the best and the funnier! Without this, there is no Wall-E! There you, i said it.

Toy Story 3 (2010)
Synopsis : The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

My Opinion : This another best animated feature of 2010 but only because we wait for more than 10 years to this threequel and hell yes, worth the wait. We're 10 years older after the sequel and it did bring lots of memories of our childhood, just like Andy. The most WTF scenes is when all the toys are ready to die together to the fire. That was unexpected! So far, this is the highest grossing movie of 2010, so Oscar might pick this as their Best Picture.

Where is Inception? Don't worry, i'm waiting for the DVDRip to come out, though i doubt it will get into this list cause i'm no Albert Einstein. LOL. I will updated this list next year (02 Oct 2011) to see what's hottest and latest. Hope you guys have a time to watch movies above cause i'm sure i don't have bad taste in film. :)

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th. Since then, I have a medium to share what's behind the scene of my life, what I have been thinking, and I have evolve ever since; physically or bloggaly. Huhu.. I made that up.
