2015 : Part Five

So, last year I had the opportunity to go for a two days’ vacation with my siblings, which is a first for all four of us. Three of them did go on a vacation in 2013 but I was having my practical training then. Actually we plan to have it this year but since the flight ticket were cheap, so we just go for it. Beside, we want to feel the Christmas celebration in Kota Kinabalu. I told them it’s different than the one we had in Miri since KK is bigger city and have more Christian followers.

Before we even took off to KK, me and my sister’s flight were cancelled, instead of departing at 6 in the morning, we have to depart 9 in the evening. A big bummer since we thought we had a time advantage compared to my brother and my other sister who booked 2 in the evening’s flight. Thanks to God, MASwings able to provide a much earlier flight for both of us which is at 12pm. But due to some errors, our flights are just twenty minutes apart from my brother and sister. So, basically we arrived almost at the same time.

After check in at the Hotel Victoria, we went to Suria by foot and had dinner at my favorite restaurant; Upperstar. We did our shopping and experience the Christmas from Suria back to our hotel.

Next day, we went to Imago by foot and we arrived before the mall even opened. That was kinda funny and silly. After some shopping, lunch (major drama involving me and the personnel at the Lucy’s Kitchen), we went to Oceanus and the stalls by the seaside. 




Back to the hotel for a rest then went out to watch sunset with other tourists. Saw rainbow. We went for dinner at this famous seafood restaurant near the Imago. Later that night, I went out with Papa Poret for a karaoke sesh since the last time we met, we didn’t have the chance to.


Next day, we walked a bit to find chartered bus to the airport (RM5 per pax, compared to RM30 for a taxi) before we check out. Since me and my sister’s flight was 9pm and the other was 3pm, we had to lepak at the airport for some time. I think I fall asleep about three times to kill the time.


It was a great experience with them. I have never been in the same flight with any of my siblings till this vacation. I would love to do more with them. Langkawi? Mulu Cave? Boracay? We’ll see.

My Mom..

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th. Since then, I have a medium to share what's behind the scene of my life, what I have been thinking, and I have evolve ever since; physically or bloggaly. Huhu.. I made that up. Ya la, since my blog pun dah changing names, templates quite a few times. Anyway, the segment will be call Pre Zero Nine, which mean before 2009.
