2015 : Part Two

Another highlight to my 2015 was when I went for two interviews as a cabin crew. Spoiler alert, none was successful. Not many of my friends know this (until this entry, I guess), even my boyfriend didn’t know but I told him right after the interview cause I promised him that I will tell him if I got it or not. Too bad I have to deliver the bad news to him. Lol.

Anyway, September 2015 I went to KL for an interview (invited only) with #2 best airline in the world, big deal indeed. But before that, I went to BKI first to might as well pay a visit to my dearly friends there. Stay for a night there, after been a year leaving that wonderful state. Then the next day, met with one of my BFFs who is nice enough to let me stay with her boyfriend and hanging out with me for the rest of my stay in KUL. Let’s talk about the interview. Man, once the elevator door opens, I saw a dozen of extremely good looking (way good looking than Princesses and Princes), intimidating as fuck. They converse in English only, that’s another intimidating factor. Yeah, I got Band 4 for my MUET but I don’t converse in it back home. Out of norm, I must say. But they all quite friendly, except for this one guy who is quite cocky. I passed the stage one but stage two I failed, in fact, my entire group (10 of us) didn’t succeed in that stage. One of the girl in my group is a cabin crew for a national airline, so they really have a high standard. I was bummed to be honest since I would love to share my passion and to learn from the top 2 airline in the world. But it wasn’t a waste at all (all MYR700+ expenses going there), since I have a great time meeting my BFFs and our seniors. Roller skate at night at Putrajaya gotta be one of the best moments in 2015. I was sucked (remember ice skating? Same result) at it but at least I go for it.

At least I got to meet them. :)
Then on October 2015, I went for an open interview for the best low fare airline in the world. It was an adventure. I arrived at KCH via bus, took about 13 hours, and then I walked at 4am to the airport. I took a shower in the airport and getting ready in the toilet. That was insane experience. It was a completely a different crowds. These people are more “local” and some don’t even know how to fill in the form because they don’t understand English. I’m not looking down on them but that’s the reality. Just like before, I passed the first stage but the second stage; the girl told me that I’m ugly. Well, not really, she told me I have to improve my facial complexion first. And I need to shave my beard (shaved it less than 24 hours before, but I guess mine grew faster than I thought). During all of that, I got to know this one girl. We’ve became an acquaintance ever since and just last month, since she went for the November interview and I didn’t, she succeeded in the interview.

So yeah, that was my crazy go-to moment in the 2015. I wouldn’t have done it had I not known that I’m sick. Lol. I’m still hoping to go to the interview this year though, as long as I got my facial complexion out of the way. I’m using aloe vera overnight. Hopefully, it’ll be fruitful before the end of the year.

p/s: I can only plan, if its happened, it'll happened.
