Top 15 Songs in 2016

I know, I've been gone for like forever and to come back doing this yearly thing, not really worth the wait but hey, at least i'm back. Anyway, s/o to new look on Blogger, good job for making it fancy.

So, here we are. 2016 in music is like one of the best year I can recall. From Adele to Rihanna to Beyonce, and Zayn - bae's debut his album, to my queen Britney Spears and finally Lady Gaga, all releasing new material this year (except for Adele but she's included in my 2016 music time frame).

Let me explain the complicated time frame. This data is counted from Nov 1st 2015 until Dec 31st 2016, any song added from that period is included in the chart for most played song in 2016. Why Nov 1st? Cause last day in Oct is the last day for a submission to the Grammy for consideration. Yes, i'm following the Grammy's time frame.

Here's the most played songs in 2016:

2. Pillowtalk - Zayn (288 plays)
3. When We Were Young * - Adele (240 plays)
4. Close to You - Rihanna (226 plays)
5. Can't Let Go ** - Adele (214 plays)
6. Needed Me - Rihanna (192 plays)
7. Slumber Party - Britney Spears feat. Tinashe (187 plays)
8. Remedy - Adele (184 plays)
9. Superficial Love - Ruth B (176 plays)
10. Your Type - Carly Rae Jepsen (156 plays)
11. Youth - Troye Sivan (155 plays)
12. Lost Boy - Ruth B (141 plays)
13. Hold My Hand - Jess Glynne (140 plays)
14. Stand by You - Rachel Platten (138 plays)
15. I'll Show You - Justin Bieber (136 plays)

In all time data, Make Me is the second most played song, right behind last year #1 song; Adele's Hello which had 548 plays. Both songs are the only song in data to reach 500 plays and more. Pillowtalk is right behind at #4 in the all time data for most played songs.

Adele's Can't Let Go made it at #7 for 2015's and this year even better at #5. Last year, there were only 11 songs with 100 plays and above. Meanwhile in 2016, there were 39 songs, showing an increase in heavy rotation.

My Mom..

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th. Since then, I have a medium to share what's behind the scene of my life, what I have been thinking, and I have evolve ever since; physically or bloggaly. Huhu.. I made that up.
