FINALLY! Its CHRISTMAS! Hoho!!
Honestly, this is our family most down to the earth Christmas celebration ever and it turn out to be the best Christmas ever!! On the evening of Christmas Eve, I'm as usual helping my mom on the kitchen to cook the chicken (our annual Christmas food), it was not as hyped as before but i found it less stress and more classy. After that, my parents go to the church while the rest of The John are at home watching television and online. After my parents home, me and my parents are watching television while Jacq, Rose and Mike were upstairs playing computers.
When it was almost about the midnight, we sitting together (at the same time, my mom broke her glass flowers and the pieces was spreading all over places, DRAMA!)at the dinner table and we prayed for our health, life and thank God for the good year He gave to us and we are hoping more. After that, we have our little dinner (eating nuts, cakes and sweets while drinking Pepsi) which is the simplest but very blessed dinner. And then, we talked about ourselves and we really have fun (my mom is the funniest!). There was no tension and we were so open up. I love it. Although we ate simple food but at the end, we are full of food. With only one bottle of Pepsi and very small amount of foods, we were no longer starving instead we cannot having more! That is really a blessed! Thank God!
As the tradition, my parents always taking bath on the first hours of Christmas and it was the first time I see my father, John, singing all the way to the bathroom singing Christmas tune! He never that happy! I feel so blessed! As we having our conversations, we watching a television programmed together (Master Of Illusion). And it was fun and very relaxing!
Just after there are no more entertaining programmed on the television, my parents and Jacq are heading to bedroom while me and Rose continue watching television (American Idol 8) because tomorrow we will wake early to go to the Church.
When i was online just now, and visit my Facebook, i read a note by roommate which is about him and his family are going to dinner at some high standard hotel and he talked about how he was so full. Frankly, my family who just ate some little food are just about as full as them who have to spend more money for that dinner. And he don't even mentioned how the situation with his family. One thing that i learned from this is, we can find happiness anywhere and at any cost as long as we stand for each other and love each other.
This year Christmas is the best ever! Can't wait to tell you guys the full day of Christmas. Thank you, God. Merry Christmas everyone!
