Christmas Day Diary
Hello everyone! Can't believe time is flying (or passing) by so fast, its almost 2010! By then, i will start my 4th Semester and blast the time for my own pleasure! Anyway, i am going to share to you guys what Christmas Day for "Keeping Up With The John" (our version of the Kardashian.. hehe) from my perspective, of course.
After the midnight celebration, i could not sleep so i stay up until 5AM and i heard that my mom was wake up, so i got that opportunity to shock her and i did shocked her. Haha.. I told her that i couldn't close my eyes, so she suggest i stay wake up or else i would be hard to wake up if i go to sleep. And i follow the suggestion, so i watched television and Ponyo (again, i did not finish watching it, not because it boring but i don't have feel to watch it). After all of us woke up, we prepared our self for the annual Christmas praying at the church only to found out that Jacq (our version of Kim K) decided to not going with us. There was some intense moment between my mom, Tida (Kris J, of course) and Jacq about the mobile phone. Though it do not that worst but come on, its Christmas! Urgh!
Then, me, Rose (Kourtney K), Mike (Rob K) and my mom headed to the bus station (FYI who don't know me that well, my family don't have car, we only have motorcycle which is owned by my dad, John (Bruce J)). Not more than 5minutes waiting there, the bus came. There are not much passengers as what my mom expect but its better since we have the seats. The charge for each person is RM1.20 (not more than $0.50). Then we stop just before Pujut 4 to take another bus to go to Lutong where the Mater Dei Church is located. Each of us have to spend another RM1.00 for the bus. BTW, i was so sleepy that i refused to sit down on the bus station. God, wrong choice!
Move on, the bus came and we headed to Lutong and that is my the first visit after almost 5months in Kuching. Almost everything change (Damn! The oldest town in Miri will got one of the biggest shopping mall called MYY Mall) and it good for the people lives there. Although it getting dirtier but at least it change! Since we are talking about changing, i told Rose that the only thing that have not change is that we are still walking to the Church while everyone else using car. Sound pity. The walk to the Church taking almost 8minutes and remind you that, it was the peak of Sun heat! We literally burn up! When we reach there, i feel good. Nothing as good as Church! Peace!
Then we using main entrance instead of side walk and everyone was paying attention to us (like they never did that before! Urgh!), as usual we would walk like we are on runaways! Haha.. I see all the little kids around 7 to 14 years old wearing very fairy and white attire are very excited. I've been there, so, please, i'm not jealous, don't make yourself like you are the only one who wearing that before! Then my mom's BFF come and we take our seat inside the main hall. I can't believe my mom choose a seat that barely fit all 6 of us with additional 3 people who already sitting there. It was really uncomfortable but i'm okay with it since there is no other problems except for we cannot moving much.
This year Christmas prayer is not as hyped as past years, i don't know why, the spirit is not really there, we clapped our hand like we haven't eaten for our entire life. The choirs voice are looking like they are miming, maybe the sound is too loud. After all, i did enjoyed it. Oh yeah, forgot to tell you guys, i was very au natural at that day with no hair cream or gel. This is my first attempt to go natural for 2010. I think i like it. Who care about your opinion on what i'm wearing and styling as long as you are not my employer!!
Get so carried away just now, move on, after that, again another 8minutes walk to the bus station because i was inform that Jacq is going to take us with her hubby, Awie (Reggie B). After that, we are headed to my mom's BFF house to have our lunch over there. It was cool and the food is good except it was too spicy for me (I don't really like spicy food). Me, Rose and mom have a shot over a beer. It was my first time after the last time was like 4 years ago when it was Gawai Days (yes, i'm underage that time but it was a traditional ceremonial). I'm 19 okay? It illegal. But i do not take more because i might ended being a real Khloe K! There would be many F-bomb and S-bomb! Haha..
Then we going back to our dear castle to send our mom home since she refuse to go with us for some window shopping. After that, we going to Guardian! I did see a 'candy' but i did not try to be so desperate to start a relationship right now, so i was like ignoring it. After that we going to the first Boulevard Shopping Mall in Malaysia although we want to go to Imperial Mall at first, F!#$, there was no parking. At there, we did our best in window shopping which is touching everything we see and like because we could afford it! Pathetic but fun! It was way more satisfying!
Later, we headed for some evening beverages at E-Mart KFC. We have a little chat there before going home where i would spend the rest of the night sleeping! Believe it or not, i was not sleeping for almost 40hours!! Bad habit! Hopefully i'm not practicing it during next semester.
Basically, my Christmas this year is more family affairs and low key but i did enjoy it very much. Cannot ask for a better 2009 Christmas other than to spend the time with your loved ones. Love ya, The John!
