Review : KICK-ASS

I remember back in start of this year where i listed some movie that could be a hit or box office bomb. One of them was this movie i'm about to review, yes, my prediction was almost right. Kick-Ass only grossed about $46millions over it $30millions which is pretty decent since it cover up it budget but the hype over this movie was like it should get more than $30millions in it first weekend alone, too bad, it grossed barely $20millions and have a very high down slide during it second weekend.

But, what making me wondering so much is that, this movie get a lot of amazing review from a lot of respected movie reviewer, how come it doesn't appeal to people? Leave it to the movie producer to think about that, back to my opinion over this movie.

Kick-Ass. Yeah, they are really kick-ass in this movie. But, seriously, this film do not suitable for a children that still playing at playground, i'm sure they don't want to see Hit-Girl cut a man leg into half, literally. Me, myself don't expect that too. The storyline was no way rubbish, it is very well written, genius indeed and the cast were perfect. Never in my life to see Nicholas Cage as Bat-Dad where he impersonate as the Batman-ish. He was good at it, and [SPOILER] i never thought he would die at the end of this movie.

There were some inappropriate scene (boobs & sex) for true Malaysian eyes but as you know, i'm quite the open-minded one, so i don't mind. I love Hit-Girl so much in this movie, she kinda scene stealing act, and made me thinking whether this movie titled were Hit-Girl or Kick-Ass. This girl is the new Angelina Jolie, so now, Angie can relax and taking care of her 60 children with Brad Pitt and let Chloe take the roles where needed some girl that could really kick some else ass. Any how, i still like Kick-Ass for it amateur level. I don't see any wrong in acting for any of the cast. They were all good and suitable for the characters.

The sound effects was really cool, like when there is some fighting scene where involve cutting the throat, the background music was a happy and very kindergarten. That was total amazing. The blood effects was so Wanted, which is great.

Now, in my own voice, move over Spiderman, i have Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl to replaced you!

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th.
