A Year As A Blogger

So, its been a year. Can you believe it? Amazing. What a journey i had all this year. I'm looking forward to see what i can offer to the dinner table for next couple of years. You know, i want to inspired certain demographic, that even though we are underdogs, we are not stupid and we can stand up. Sound like i'm campaigning for a position in White House, LOL.

Anyway, today is the very day i decided, one year ago, i want my life and my opinion to go viral. Actually, i've been into this journaling since i don't even know what is internet yet, where i wrote all of my teenage dream and nightmare into a blue book. Click here to see what i meant with blue book. It was pure silly stuff, lol. If that book ever leaked into someone else hand, i would hang myself a minute after i got the news. Then, when i start to date 'internet' and i met Friendster, i start to write my life into it. Click here to check out my first blog. Then i start to abandon the blue book and eventually i left it with the last entry is dated 26th of April 2008.

Then i have this friend in Friendster saying his goodbye cause he is leaving to Facebook. So, i wonder what is Facebook and i sign an account at 2008 and start to used it regularly in 2009. During that time, i rarely visit Friendster and at the same time, i'm eager to tell and share my story to worldwide. Next thing i found, i'm using Facebook as a way to share my life. And yet, i still feel something is missing. My BFF start to encourage me to used Blogger instead. On 18th November 2009, i post my first entry into my blog. The blog was title Jack : Walk of My Life. The next day when i try to post another entry, i forgot my password and username. So, i create a new one. I named it My Footprints, inspired from Leona Lewis's Footprints In The Sand. Since then, i have post about 166 entries. Just yesterday, i changed my blog titled to My Life on The Z-List to commercialize it and to be more appropriate. All of the things i have post here is straight from my heart. I prefer to write than to talk about it cause sometime things don't come out just like what we thought when we try to talk it. Beside, i don't think anyone would like to hear what i thought, at least anyone close to me. Using internet, i know there is millions who are listening. LOL. No offense to my close friends.

All right, back to September this year, i did post something about how my blog is progressing in the globe. Click here to read the entry. Since then, my blog is booming to the level i would never ever thinking of. Can you imagine i have 30+ regular visitors each day? I used to think that i have only one visitor which is myself. Wow. I'm glad i'm making this move.

This the world map of my blog visitor origin. The last time data, i don't have visitor from South America, Africa and Islamic (i don't really good at geography even though i got A for it) region. Look at this! World is in my fist. Thank you so much, world! We all Z-List! LOL. Except for some people i know and Imran Ajmain.

Here is the top 20 of my visitors origin. As you can observe from above, my visitor mainly coming from Malaysia. Follow by Christian version of Malaysia, US. (Come on, look at the flag. LOL.. Joking alert.) This past month, the number of US visitor is growing rapidly. Below is the details :


On September, US visitors is about 15.9% of all visitors and Malaysia was 75%. Nowadays, US is accounted for 28% with Malaysia is 36%. Next year? I think US will be in lead. Move on.

This is the information about the site which link my blog the most. You know, the click my blog link from that sources. Twitter is the most referring URL since i tweet my url of each of my post into it. Referring sites is Google, follow closely by Facebook since i provide a link to my blog in my page.

So, my most popular entry is, wait for it, America's Next Top Model! I'm smizing reading the data. LOL. Thanks, Tyra! My entry about my BFF also in the top 10. LOL. People must thought i'm about to announced something important. LOL. Shame on you. BFF will always stay BFF.

This is the data of people visiting my blog yesterday. Yes, we break the record yesterday as 63 former visitors back to visit my blog, the most ever. Which mean, i have 63 reader who concern about what i post yesterday. I have 63 regular visitor, the most to say. Thanks!


Try to compared the data above. Back in June, on average, i got a single number new visitor and regular readers. LOL. And now, the numbers are crazy. We break the record every single day.

According to Blogger, my visitors are mainly from the so-called land of freedom, US (is it really freedom? Repeal the DADT first). But Blogger start to do this stuff later than Flag Counter, so its a current data. Reminder to my visitor, please browse my blog using Chrome because Chrome are the best (i'm promoting it). To any reader who used iPad OS, give me one, for God sake! LOL. (No, i'm serious about. Give it to me!)

Overall, i promised to share my life even if it suck and not as normal as you think cause that's how we roll in Z-List! Thanks again for making me more inspirational and spiritful to update my blog. You guys are amazing.

My Mom..

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th. Since then, I have a medium to share what's behind the scene of my life, what I have been thinking, and I have evolve ever since; physically or bloggaly. Huhu.. I made that up. Ya la, since my blog pun dah changing names, templates quite a few times. Anyway, the segment will be call Pre Zero Nine, which mean before 2009.
