Actions Speaks Louder Than Words
On last year Chinese New Year, me and my friend was the one who would do anything just to get the food on the open house in Kuching. This year? I was the one who distribute the food to the public. Gosh, what a wheel! I was the public last year and now i'm the worker. Urgh, another Z-list certification!

Anyway, this event supposed to be held in Kuching but since Kuching is not BN major supporters (my own damn theory), they changed it to Miri. Before that, they decided to do it on Boulevard Shopping Complex gigantic car park but since Boulevard (or Sin Yang) didn't happy with government decision to not giving Miri to them few years ago, they finally decided to do it next to my office! Damn. Why would they do that when i were practical at Pustaka Miri? Very coincidence.
Woke up very early that morning and out from house at 7.20am cause we were supposed to be at the location at 8am sharp. As usual, 20 minutes from the projected time, then we start with the briefing of what we would do the whole day.
At first, we have to carry the lemons, drinking water and all that. What i'm most intrigued about is the fact that this guys from PM who told me to toughen up but they were the one that carry all the things using trolley. I mean, 2 guys is enough to push that trolley but it takes 4 of them to do it! Who's sissy now? I said it once on Twitter and i said it again :
Action speaks louder than words.
Not only that, from 8am to 8pm, they probably work for 2-3 hours only. Some of them claimed that they have fever. Shut up, piggy!

Early morning at Miri City Fan. Hours before the event start.

This is my first camp where i pack all the things with some IKBN students (mostly from Malaya, i'm quite surprised) but i moved to next camp after i saw my fellow staff doesn't have enough hand (yes, because some of them fled away).

See, almost 1500 paper bags was filled with foods. I was working as the orange fruit filler to the bag at first but (yes, some of them fled again) after that, i was doing all the works. Even at one point, one staff claimed that they tired seeing i was working very hard.

This is our booth. A lot of food to give away.

Health Ministry representative come to check the Kuih Bakul which its expired date was questionable. At the end, they take all of it with them as it wasn't safe to be given to the public.

Around 3pm something (non-stop from 8am), me and few hardworking staff going back to our office to change our clothes and i found this reporter from RTM's TV1 who is making live telecast. RTM crew was operating from our office.

People start to gather in front of our booth while at the back booth, you can see people are lining up to get free water.

We start again to finished up the remain empty paper bag. My hand was working like robot. Can't stop. The staff was calling me "Jack and Mandarin Orange" cause i was the one who so busy filling the bag with orange.

Zombies are lining up in front of our booth. At this moment, i was already fall right into the ground after the zombie are attacking other booth and i was very busy body to know what had happened and i tried to help the worker to distribute the bag and suddenly, i was on the ground. Right after that, i ran back to my real booth. It was mad chaotic!

After the food distributed, the garbage is all over the ground. Typical.
After the bag of food are over in our booth, i was running to the next booth to help them out and after that second booth don't have any other food, i ran to the third booth! Unstoppable. I don't see anything wrong by helping others. Pustaka Miri staff was like : "Jack, enough." Lol..
Anyway, i was very glad that i'm really worked hard cause after that, all of PM staff now know that i'm not the one to be mess up with. They even praised me that if i don't help them, they wouldn't finish the things. I'm glad i help them. Anyway, my body still hurt, especially the muscle part. I got few bruised on my hand. But the main point is, i really happy to do such charity to the public. Its like i'm the activitist right now. You know, the one who help people in need. Lol.. Could be a point for me to stay in heaven. God bless me. Lol..
p/s : Seramai 20 staff PM yg bekerja pada hari itu, hanya nama saya saja yg diingat oleh penganjur. Well, actions speaks louder than words. Sampai hari ni, staff PM x habis memuji saya. Thanks guy. Now you know who really 'stole' your things and who's not.
p.p/s : I don't even believe that i'm so hard working that day. I guess when you try to prove what people think of you if wrong, is really pushing your own boundaries.
