“Sarawakian Tak Hebat In Speaking English.”

Hey y'all. Have a great Sunday. Ni nak cerita sikit with you all. Sebagai pengajaran untuk diri sendiri dan anda juga. 

I got this one coursemate from KL, nama dia Mimi (bukan nama full dia, ehh?). Before I blog anything, he might be my future BFF or whatever, so I am not banning him or anything, it just that what he said in front of me kind of hurt me a bit.

We were talking about MUET and he told me and @papaPoret (tweethandle Twitter dia, nama full Joefairul Johari) what he got for that particular exam. Then he start to compliment Sabahan that these people good in speaking in English, not like those from Sarawak because of the fact that Sarawak di bahagian bawah Sabah. Entah macam mana la dia boleh buat kesimpulan macam tu.

As a Sarawakian yang mendengar dia cakap macam tu, memang panas la telinga. I siap siap nak keluarkan my MUET result slip, show kat dia berapa band yang I dapat, nasib I ni bukan jenis yang kekwat, so senyum senyum je la. I thought he know la I’m a Sarawakian, since I made it pretty clear yang I ni from Sarawak, time suai kenal hari tu. Or he didn’t pay attention at all.


After a few things we discussed, dia tanya, both of us from Sabah right? I immediately said yang I’m a Sarawakian. Terus dia minta maaf. Baru I paham, dia ni mengumpat orang Sarawak rupa-rupanya tadi. Rude nya. Main cakap belakang rupanya dia ni. It didn’t hit me that time, only that night when I’m about to go to Dreamland, baru I paham betul betul. Hilang respect terus toward him.

I bukannya nak cakap yang I hebat sangat speaking English, still terketar ketar kot kalau speaking, tapi if possible, jangan la cakap belakang o? Tak baik. I tak pernah pun before this cakap negeri negeri ni hebat speaking, negeri negeri ni tak. Semuanya bergantung dengan diri sendiri dan how the teacher are teaching the students, factor geografi tak mempengaruhi pun.

Serious, this thing open my eyes a bit. Not a good impression but as a noble person, I apologized him la. I assume dia tak pernah bergaul dengan orang Sarawak before this.

My Mom..

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th. Since then, I have a medium to share what's behind the scene of my life, what I have been thinking, and I have evolve ever since; physically or bloggaly. Huhu.. I made that up. Ya la, since my blog pun dah changing names, templates quite a few times. Anyway, the segment will be call Pre Zero Nine, which mean before 2009.
