[Nostalgia] Part 1 : UiTM Samarahan

There is 4 more weeks for me to done with my practical training at Pustaka Miri and less than 3 months for me to complete my Diploma, so i decided to do some flashback of what i've been through and experienced as UiTM student since Semester 1. Been planning to do this since last month, you know, i waited for the five last weeks of me training, and finally, its here. Time goes so fast. Its running.

Are you ready? Here we go. By the way, i skipped the entire MMS week cause i was so damn tired on that week, to remember the whole thing, cause when i'm tired and don't have enough sleep, i kinda forget everything.

Who is that? That's not me. That was one of my roommate, which happened to take the same course as me, Justin Minggai from Sibu. This was taken on the first day of lecture! We were over early during the first week, i think about 7.10am whereas the class started at 8.00am. Talking about innocent. Lol.. Few weeks after that, we adjust the time and eventually taking separate time to go to the lecture. We didn't walk together to the class ever again. Can't point the finger to anyone other than myself. I'm not the best roommate you'll ever have. Trust me.

Talking about lecture, this video was taken before we entering BEL 120 class. I guess it was after 'Take Five' given by our lecturer. Everytime (well, almost) the BEL class in the MKOM 8 (or 9, i can't remember which it is), i will always sit all by myself. Sad, huh? I suck that though, cause i'm still here. Lol.. Anyway, you can see there are Rahim, Tita, Rahman, Audrey, Noel, Grace, me and Kay, in the video. I think the cameraman is Hamid. Not sure.

This was taken when i joined the celebration of the 45th year Sarawak in Malaysia with the closest people i'm with during the whole thing. These people are Aizat, Faizah and Nadia from Part 2. They treat me like their brother, i like it. I was with three of them, all the time. During the practiced and everything. What i like the most about them was that they are not fake. Love them. Every now and then, when we bumped into each other in UiTM, they will always greet me first. Kinda surprised that they still remember me. Lol.. Anyway, that celebration was involving us to march around the stadium with colorful flag, each for everyone. It was so tiring but worth it. And we get paid to do it too. That's the best thing.

This picture was taken during COMPASS Explorace. At first, i was so not sure whether my group (consist of me, Grace and Athari) will win the race since we're underdog and i don't know the ability of my team member. I'm not even a good runner after i'm leaving SMKDP. The last day before the race, Athari decided to quit from the race (reason? He was at his home for the weekend). He left me and Grace to look for another teammate (we don't want to quit since we want the God damn association stamp for college next semester), so we decided to whoring around and long-story-shortened, we found Miss Adeline (my CSC125 lecturer), after some begging. Lol.. The next day, still unsure about the team ability, we start off the race well. Miss Adeline was a bonus for both of us, since every questions asked in the checkpoint, were all related to her colleague. Grace was amazing, running like there was no tomorrow (then i found out she is athletes). Me? I'm just a side-kick. Well, that's all a Z-lister can do. At then end, we won the first runner up! Woohoo! The last time i won something was when i joined a Bahasa Malaysia's Forum competition during my Form Five (which we won first place and get to be the school representative). Z-Lister doesn't have that much luck to win anything, so i'm very blessed with the medal.

First semester was kinda suck during dinner time (sometime i don't have it at all). I asked everyone who is my ex-schoolmate to have a dinner together since i know them for years, so it will be much easier. But no, none of them is free. Guess people do changed, but why after 5 years of being a teenager? Didn't we all supposed to changed at 13? I don't blame them though. But thank God to this angel, Catherine Lawai (she was 5sc1 and i was 5sc2), she was there whenever i need her. A really good friend, whoever slipped her away, is having a big loss. She always bring her roommates to joined us and i got new friends. Enough about that, start talking about picture above. That person is my sister, Roseline. She was Part 4 when i enrolled into UiTM. We're taking the same course. She was there to help me and to accompany me. Some see our relationship as my way to not get any teased from seniors. Whatever, haters. Get a sister, if you are so jealous. But i do get away from joining all the freshee of CS110 to be 'introduced' to the senior. Thanks to my sister. She told me. Boo-yah!

This is it. The three, very charming-annoying-awesome, girls who was on the way becoming my lifetime BFF. I love them, through every second of sweet and bitter time. Will not type much about them cause i won't stop, once i started. They are just so freaking drama queen! Lol..

In the end of 2008, the hills behind Kolej Gading start to looks like not a hills itself. What happened to it? Well, there are going to build more building. I heard the building is ready to be used in the end of 2011. That fast.

What do i do every Wednesday's evening? I act as a JPA or Civil Defence member. Sure it was a hell, but i still have one more semester to go as JPA's member. Gotta suck it up. Lol..

When we used the orange uniform, we will always being teased as the cleaner cause the cleaner wear the same color. But i like it, very bold color and everyone know we are a member of Civil Defense, whenever we wear it.

This was taken after a sleepless night and a motor cruise act (where we have to stand for hours, in a motor riding position. Only God know how painful it is) in Civil Defence's camp. I still can smile, huh? Well, i'm the best faker. This was my group. Here is the secret that i never told any other people except my group. We were give a cracker as a thing that we have to keep for the entire days in camping and i broke mine, the first hour the committee (pictured above in red and white t-shirts) gave it to me. Whoever broke it, will be punished. I was so frustrated but the cracker was actually still have the perfect shape, except one part where it broke. I hide the broken part (with my hand) everytime the committee checking it. The secret was kept till the end of the camping.

On 23rd September of 2008, all of the Part 1 student in Block 3 of Kolej Mulu was attacked by all the seniors (in Block 1,2,4 and 6) during a blackout. It was happened after the junior shouted back to the senior and then fired them back with firecracker. It make the senior gone overboard angry. The result? As what the video below proved.

Thank God me and my roommates are safe, and we didn't have our window broke into pieces, the door didn't split into two and we didn't have any firecrackers or stones thrown into our room. Cause some room get the treatment. Too bad for them but our rooms door do get kicked by the senior. It was kinda over reacted for senior to do that, since not all of us are rude. Days later, all of the Part 1 was asked to gather together and do a public apology to all the senior. Sad day since the junior, who did rude to the senior, was not in the college. Why do all the innocent have to pay back for what we don't do? Whatever. We going from Block 2, then to Block 1, Block 6, Block 5 and Block 4 and said this word "Sorry Seniors".

Final exam is almost here. The video below was taken during my study group with Ummi, Rahimah, Erni and Sudu, at Block D. After lots of studying, we're gone crazy. The result was the upside down video. Lol..

Finally, the end of Part 1 is here. Below is my room number. 3 stand for Block 3, 2 stand for Level 2 while 18 stand for room number. I missed that room. Bye bye Part 1, welcome Part 2.

There you go. Am i having blast as a UiTM student in the first semester? I doubt that but i'm cool whichever the way it is. What are my result for the final exam? What do i go through in next semester? You guys will find it out, next week, when i will roll my second semester in UiTM Samarahan.

p/s : UiTM Di Hati Ku. Hehe.. Skipped the drama when i'm applying for PTPTN. That was one of the darkest day in my life, ever. Me no likey it.
