Review : FEMME FATALE


I have been holding myself since the leak of the album in the early of March, finally, this is it. As you can see, my blogs is conquered by Britney cause its Britney's Takeover Day! So i download all of the songs this morning, and listened to it about an hour later. Here is my thoughts while i listened to it for the first time. ;)

Up N Down
Kinda cool song with a memorable chorus. Suitable to use as warming up song during workout. Though Britney's voice is heavily auto-tuned at one part. Infectious enough. 3.5/5

Drop Dead (Beautiful) ft. Sabi
Dark start, getting more Euro during the bridge but the chorus is okay. Can hear some Blackout's element in this song. Sabi is okay as a new rapper. I love the ending! 3.5/5

Big Fat Bass ft. Will.I.Am
Turn out the teaser drop by Will.I.Am is the opening part of the song. Repeating chorus. A bit sounds like Backseat by New Boyz. Definitely we can guess this song is produced by Will.I.Am with some late 90's techno style. Ooh, i love the tapping part. Why Will.I.Am rapping part is the best part? 2.5/5

Criminal
Damn. I love this song. Let's hear if it good. Wow, i love cheeky Britney's voice. This is actually the first since 3 of the above songs, Britney sounds like Britney! Love the chorus and the flute! This is my evening anthem. Haha.. Mama, i'm in love with Britney! Damn. Damn. Damn. I love the climax, very personal and new. The chorus is infectious! She better released this song as her single! 5/5

Don't Keep Me Waiting
The drum is dead on! This song remind me of Britney in I Love Rock N Roll era, i don't know why. Pop rock fan will enjoy this, i guess. 3/5

Gasoline
Oo, Britney used her falsetto tone here. I can see the Arabian type of background for this song music video. Lol.. Toward the end, the song develop into something more i like. Can't deny the raunchy and memorable chorus though. 2.5/5

He About To Lose Me
I like Britney's voice in here. Got some R&B element. This song remind me of Unusual You (Circus) but more upbeat. 3.5/5

How I Roll
Remind me of Mmm Papi (Circus) but definitely more bubbly and feels good. This is summer anthem, cruising around in the car. Haha.. I love the chorus. Can't believe this song is actually produced by someone who produced Toxic (In The Zone)! Feels good song. 4/5

I Wanna Go
Damn, been waiting for this song! All i could say, this should be the next single!! I'm so proud of this song! Makes me drop my tears, it just so good! The chorus is building up! I love the whistling! OMG! The Best, so far! Can i give this song 6/5? Lol.. Damn, the whistling ending! 5/5

Inside Out
Yeah, got some Ciara element. I love it! Got some swagga in the beat. Britney's voice is the most confident since the Till The World Ends. 4.5/5

Seal It With A Kiss
Fire! I like it like that! This is definitely Britney's stuff. Did i sense a downbeat-dubstep here? I like it. 3.5/5

Selfish
Not the standout song but i think this should be in the tracklisting, instead of in the Deluxe Edition, replace the Big Fat Bass. Again, the chorus is memorable. Not really a departure from Circus, though. Boom boom. 3.5/5

Trip To Your Heart
Very soft song with the electronic and Euro tune. This is the winter anthem. Lol.. I can play this song on Christmas' Eve. 3.5/5

Trouble For Me
Wow, Britney is so fierce in this song! Urgh, this song is almost a hit but the 1.34 minutes part is not my liking. 3/5

Overall, this is definitely better than her 6th album, Circus. Better than Blackout? Almost. But some songs are better than those in Blackout, like I Wanna Go and Criminal. Till The World Ends and Hold It Against Me is no doubt a great song. I love it and Britney still got it. After all, its Britney, bitch!

p/s : 4.5/5, get the album y'all. Worth it!

Today, I'm going to tell you guys, about my mom which many of my friends do not know. Every time when someone talking about cleaners, i get very sensitive most of the time. My mom, Tida Bo, work as cleaner before i could even reading to support our family. She working in many places before settling down in Shell's Main Office at Miri (not the pumped station, ok?) Here the picture : She work like there was no tomorrow and really hard. Even though, some of her higher education colleagues always look down on her, she never gave up because she know, she still have us to support of. I know, if me and my siblings are already got stable job, never ever she would stay there. Her spirits is always beyond any of us. That's one of the million reasons why she inspired me the most. Page 296 I decided to make a new segment in my blog to celebrate (alasan!) my 4th anniversary as an active blogger which will be so on Nov 19th.
