Working Out

Hey y’all. I should be in the Dreamland right now but because I am ‘attending’ the funeral of Whitney Houston, I have to stay up; so much trying to schedule my sleep timing to normal.

As you guys know, I am working out since the second week I am on holiday and I just ended the third week’s workout session. I have two more week until I, that is if, back to Shah Alam. So far, I am doing fine and I think I did better than the previous weeks because I am quite on track. I ditched syrup and instant noodle (except for a day when I have nothing to eat for lunch) this week compares to the weeks before, but there is something that I can’t get rid of, chocolate.

Chocolate stock in my house is never out of stock. Every time my mom back from her second job, which is a house cleaner, she will always bring back dozens of chocolates courtesy of the house owner that she serviced. I am a chocolate lover, and I can’t resist it. I mean, who does? This week, my mom brought Hersey’s chocolate. Heaven! Maybe I should reduce the intake a little by little.

Okay, here is the round up of my workout session. During the first week, I do about one thousand of jumping rope then I add another thousand for the second week and for the third week, I add another 250 jumps. I love running but there are none specific place to do that. My house is nowhere near Recreation Park. My neighborhood is a ghetto one. Once you start running, dog will be behind you, aiming for your legs. Not safe. So, the other day Lyn suggest to me to do run at the newly parking lot for PermyMall, which is not in used yet. I did and it wasn’t easy as the parking lot is a home to more than four dogs! I still do my running though, despite the fact that the dogs barking at me every time I run near them. I missed Taman Bulatan, Miri City Fan, Padang UiTM Sarawak and Taman Tasik Shah Alam, where I can run with other joggers and totally running free.

That was my one and only, so far, jogging session in Miri this year. Other than doing jumping and very few running, I do some exercise that need the use of my abs. I learnt the step from a women magazine. Yeah, so gay right? Anyway, it never gets easier. I also do some push up, ten for a day; will add ten more for next two weeks. In one day of workout session, I also do some sit up for my buttocks, about 50 times each.

Despite all that ‘intensive’ workout session and huge amount of drinking water consumed, my weight has not show any sign of going down. In the first week, I was at 65kg and the next week, I was at 66kg and this week, I was at 66.5kg. My next weighing session will be tomorrow, I hope the number is not 67kg or beyond. If it is, I think I need to give up chocolate and rice entirely; I need to sleep early too and increase the intensity of my workout.
